He Remembered Not to Show Mercy
Psalms 109:16
2023 Family Conference
- We live in a spiritually effeminate culture
- People want to hear about God’s love, not His judgment
- Psalm 109 is an imprecatory psalm asking God for harsh judgment
- THE THIRTEEN JUDGMENTS (Vv. 6-20)
- These judgments are a request for awful judgment on those who did not show mercy (Vv. 16, 20)
- When we do not extend mercy to others, God does not extend to us the mercies He gives every day. When this happens, we receive the justice we deserve.
- You reap what you sew. To get mercy, you must extend mercy. (Psalms 18:25)
- Show mercy to your parents, family, and those who have wronged you.
